“Pretty flowers.”
Mosquito bites
Bare feet
Chickadee calling
His soft singing
Lavender bug repellant
Cat inside screen door
Red watering can reflecting sunlight
“What should we do now?”

Deb,
Splendid…You have told a story with this poem.
It states volumes, touches the reader’s heart,
puts a smile on the lips, a mist in the eye, and
reminds me, in the nicest way, of Sam. I’m sure
he keeps in touch with Fanny just to see that all
is well and I’m betting he smiled a great big smile
when she read him this poem.
Splendid…oooh, I think I already said that!!
Sarah
Sarah, misty eyes returned. What a great ‘old friend’ you are! 😉
