He is like the trillium catching me by surprise in the woods,
the milky white of the stars spilling across the sky,
the flash of red in a forest of umbers and olives,
the flames of glory in the setting sun.
He is more than I ever hoped for and far exceeds what I thought I desired,
he is my only way through with love, my only hope of becoming my one true self.
He is all I need and in him is all that ever was or will be.
He is my beautiful Savior and to him, my Jesus, who gave his all,
I surrender all…
Just in case there was any question…and sometimes I do need to remind myself.
You are so talented. Words, in your care, become beauty.
Jesus is so much to us, and you expressed it so well, Deb. Jesus does so much for us.
Kelly, your words a gift. Thank you. ❤️Happy Easter almost!
He never gives up! Thank you for sharing the joy of his resurrection with me. Happy Easter almost.
Yes! Jesus is risen indeed. We have the resurrection power inside of us, the same that raised Jesus from the dead. “And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.”(Romans 8:11) Hallelujah! Happy Resurrection Day!!!
Beautiful!
Happy Easter, Stephanie❤️
And that’s what it’s all about! Happy Resurrection Day every day! ❤️
Thank you, Deb!❤️ Yes, our Redeemer lives and we can enjoy Resurrection Day every day!
I am coming out of an Easter death in the family. He Is….all that, no matter our context of life at any given time..
Dear Gary, I am so, so sorry for your loss…I love that Easter confirms we will be together again, and in some mysterious way, still are together here on earth. Sometimes I feel my loved ones in Heaven so strongly, it’s as if they’re in the room. But I know loss is loss and the pain runs through our veins and into the depths of our beings. I am sending prayers of comfort and for that peace only Jesus can give us by his Spirit. It does transcends our understanding.
And it means a lot to share in your grief. Thank you.
