The Spirit pours in (He gives words to write)
So pour it all out (on the page)
With so much retained, less will be gained (it only adds clutter)
It’s the Law of Divine Supply (check out His Bestseller)
Put words down on paper, empty your vessel (share His beauty)
Trust you’ll hear His reply (for the next chapter)
Holding back implies fear which creates such a fuss (don’t go there)
But come to the Well, it’s a must (He’ll refill)

Perfectly expressed, Deb! Thank you for inspiration for today and everyday! <3 <3
Lynn, Such a quirky little piece. It doesn’t rhyme, it doesn’t really flow. Isn’t that ironic…? Thanks so much for sticking with me. ❤️
Amen to that sweet sister!!
Love you, G
Oh my my my. Sooooo, I received a message from a friend last night telling me of a young man who posted a message of despair in one of their groups, and she asked me if I had a word I could share. As I read the message initially I had nothing but a question, Is this young man a believer? Shortly after that, I simply asked the Lord for a word, and the well burst forth.
After writing the message, I sent it to my friend, and I went back to sleep. After spending time with the Lord in the morning’s I usually check my email, but this morning the Lord said not to, so I didn’t. (around 7-8a) Instead, He had me to get ready and go with my dad to town, and take my daughter to work, and then He said I could check my email when I returned…
To my surprise I had two message “waiting” in my inbox, well, an email from my friend and a blog from Dear Deb. I opened her email first because I knew it was pertaining the message I’d sent. Upon reading I discovered that the person who the Lord had given me a specific message for, could no longer be found, but I wasn’t worried because I knew I’d done as the Lord would have had me to do. Besides He gave it to me…
Then as I opened your message, and started reading, I was overcome by all kinds of amazing goodness. Shortly afterwards the Lord led me to a couple passages of scripture…
“And they said to one another, “Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked with us on the way and while He opened to us the Scriptures?”…Luke 24:32
“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares…Hebrews 13:2
AND THE LORD USED YOUR MESSAGE TO TIE IT ALL TOGETHER.

This is Who Abba is and what Abba does! What’s amazing is the fact that He even gives us clarity, not leaving us in the blind. His glorious unfolding’s are simply breathtaking and how He uses people in various places in order to accomplish His will is indescribable! God was at work all along, carefully weaving people and situations together to serve His purpose.
We must continue to sit at the feet of Jesus, because it’s here where He shares with us some of His most intimate details and plans for our lives! Lord, we pray that You would continue to pour Your Spirit upon us. In Jesus name, Amen!
Looking to the Lord for this Next Chapter!!
Dear Anthony,
I have had to take time to absorb your letter and have now read it three times. It’s beautiful. Your care for those you love and your relationship with Jesus.
And it’s so interesting because I thought this post was lacking in rhythm and eloquence and hesitated posting it. But that only went against what I’m trying to do these days…allow Him to fill me to write and trust. So I went ahead without looking back (too much…just a few edits. 🙂 ) and hit Publish.
Anyway, that So Write! was used for a higher purpose then I could imagine, well, does it get any better than that?
So, thanks for sharing how it touched you and as always, for your encouragement to trust and grow in Him.
Your friend,
Deb
Deb, Deb, Deb, Abba is beyond amazing….
After a long night, a youth lock-in, (whew wee) I find myself sitting and reading this response, which like all of your responses, further reveals the intricacies of the Lord’s “to do’s” in our lives. His sovereign ability to do and arrange such divine happenings is jaw-dropping, and the fact that He helps us to plainly see it all unfold increases our faith and desire to obey His voice and commands.
“And it’s so interesting because I thought this post was lacking in rhythm and eloquence and hesitated posting it.”
This is Abba all day, helping and nudging us to get to this place where we “Just Write” what He says, and the we “Just Do” what He tells us to do, regardless of what we think or feel…
The Lord CONTINUES to remind me of John 2:1-5…
“On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. 3 And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” 4 Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “WHATEVER HE SAYS TO YOU, DO IT…
If we were to take look back over scripture from Genesis to Revelation, we would see where the Lord often times gave instructions and commands to His people “to do, to say, and to go”, and they didn’t make sense and it sure didn’t add up. Some of His most eloquent psalmist and scribes would probably even tell us today that many of the messages, psalms and proverbs that Abba gave them to pen had “no rhythm and certainly didn’t sound eloquent,” YET He’s still speaking to us through them today…
Sooooo, as I went back over your initial message, the Lord pointed to something else, that I’d never heard of per say…
“… the Law of Divine Supply…He began teaching me the depth of this in many areas in our lives. When we seek to live by the word of the Lord and to walk in obedience to His voice and commands in “ALL OUR WAYS,” it’s like tapping into a perpetual wellspring that supplies EVERY area of our lives.
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper…Psalm 1:2-3
Thank You Lord for speaking to and through the heart of my Sister and Lord, please continue to use us as vessels. In Jesus name, Amen!!
Anthony,
A beautiful summer Saturday spent reading through some old poetry and considering my characters and their situations. So much time spent with so little accomplished. Thank you for your message and sending Psalm 1. My dad and I memorized it together so it’s especially special and I especially needed to read it this afternoon.
D
You too, G❤️
God is amazing!!
There is joy in the truths you pen. I could feel your spirit soar as this poem grew.
It makes mine soar too! Thank you!!!
